Your work is
irreplaceable.
Prove it.

In a world flooded with AI-generated content, the most valuable thing you can say about your work is also the most human: I made this. We verify it. We certify it. We put it on the blockchain forever.

Watch a certification
happen in real time.

Every OHM certification writes a permanent, cryptographic record to a public blockchain. This is what that looks like.

Six steps to the seal.

01
Submit your process

Draft files, edit histories, session logs, sketches. Show us the work behind the work — timestamped and layered.

02
Metadata forensics

Our tools analyze file signatures, creation curves, and tool fingerprints. AI-generated files leave patterns humans don't.

03
Human auditor review

A domain expert — always a human — reviews your submission. A writer reads writing. A musician listens to music.

04
Maker's oath

You sign a legally binding declaration of human authorship. The threat of consequence is what makes the seal trustworthy.

05
Registry entry

A cryptographic hash of your certified work is written to a public ledger. Permanent, unforgeable provenance.

06
Ongoing audits

Spot re-verification keeps the seal current. Your certification is alive, not just historical.

"When creation became effortless, authenticity became rare — and rarity is what people have always paid for. In a world flooded with instant output, the value shifts to proof: proof of time, intention, and a human behind the work."

OnlyHumanMade founding manifesto, 2026

What certified creators say

"I'm glad places like OHM now exist. For many years the question of 'Who made this' was clear. A photographer made photos, a painter made art, and a musician made music. Now in 2026 it's getting harder and harder to tell the difference from machine made and human made. I had my Big Bend photo certified by OHM and couldn't be happier to PROVE this was made by me."

Rikardo B.

Film Photographer

"I had my first set of Illustrations verified by OHM and I'm so happy I did. Now no one will be able to tell me this is 'Fake' — I have PROOF."

Rick Bennett

Illustrator and Motion Graphics

"Getting my photos certified by OHM for free is always nice. Now I have proof I made these images and it's forever on the blockchain."

Our mission

To make human authorship
verifiable, valuable,
and permanent.

Ricardo is a Creative Director and film photographer based in Austin, Texas. A decade-plus of professional work with companies like Sotheby’s International Realty, Tango Software, and Hill Country News, spent sharpening an eye for what makes an image feel real. That eye is exactly what made one moment stop everything: a client looked at a photo shot on 35mm film and asked if it was AI-generated.

That question became the seed for OnlyHumanMade, an independent certification body built to give creators a verifiable way to prove their work is genuinely human-made.

By 2025, the tools to fabricate creative work had outpaced any system built to question it. The gap between human-made and machine-made had vanished entirely and no one had built a way to close it. The OHM seal isn’t anti-technology. It’s pro-human, asking creators not to reject their tools, but to claim authorship: to stand behind their work with their name, their process, and their oath. That act of claiming is what we certify.

Rigor over convenience

Certification takes effort by design. If it were easy, it would mean nothing. Every step of our process exists because trust has to be earned — not assumed.

Built for the maker, not the market

OHM exists for the photographer who shoots on film, the illustrator who works by hand, the writer who drafts in longhand. The people who put real time, real craft, and real decisions into their work. This was built for them — and every choice we make starts there.

Permanence as principle

Human creative work deserves a permanent record. Our public registry is immutable. A certified work remains certified — a timestamped marker in the historical record of what humans made, when, and who made it.
